Arci Tavola Tonda - THE PLACE

Arci Tavola Tonda is the concessionaire of Padiglione 18A within the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa in Palermo.
The Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa are located on a former industrial area of Palermo that played a central role between the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century. In the Ducrot workshops, a historic place of innovation, Art Nouveau-style wood and metal furniture designed by the Palermo architect Ernesto Basile were made and, afterwards, the Sicilian Air Force crafted planes designed by the visionary engineer Giovanni Battista Caproni.
Today a coordination of 38 public and private organizations (some of which grouped into a Community Organization: ETS Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa) has the governance of this highly creative place.
Exhibition spaces, spaces for training, for theatrical, musical, cinematographic activities and for community initiatives offer a cultural offer that animates the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa every day of the year.
Padiglione 18A is a space of about 400 square meters on two spans inside which Arci Tavola Tonda has, with its own funds, renovated by creating a concert hall (with a stage of about 50 square meters), a dance hall, a lutherie, a recording room and a bar area as well as a kitchen and toilets.
Arci Tavola Tonda, with its spaces and services, is the ideal place to think, produce and implement cultural projects.
